Mobile Functionality and Products Announced at the 2008 Intuit Real Estate Solutions International User Conference
CLEVELAND, Ohio — November 21, 2008 — Intuit Real Estate Solutions (IRES) held its annual international conference in California at the Anaheim Marriott November 9 – 12, 2008. Jeff Thompson, division president of IRES, addressed more than 700 attendees during his opening session, with an audience comprised of clients from across the globe, including North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Attendees came to experience how technology has been put into action at IRES, share best practices with each other and discover the next generation of solutions offered by the company.
During Innovate ’08 new products were highlighted that were launched this year and are in the queue for 2009. Attendees learned how IRES’ evolving technology can benefit operations and bottom line.
During the opening session, Thompson gave insight into IRES’ business trajectory and explained Intuit’s corporate support of IRES. He also provided clarity on new products and platform progress including new mobile device ability, IRES’ latest functionality for clients taking advantage of the residential management portal and payment product, Access 24/7. Attendees viewed demos of its latest product offerings, including Budgeting, IMPACT (a portfolio analysis tool) and General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Purchasing.
“The investments we are making in the business have, I believe, allowed us to create a new product that is the greatest we have brought to market,” said Thompson. “It is an exciting time to engage with our clients and our annual user conference was the perfect setting to share our current story. It is always exciting to meet with our clients every year and welcome new clients to the fold.”
For the second year, the conference offered an Executive Summit, an exclusive track for C-level executives. At this summit, attendees were able to share real-life experiences via several client-led panels, as well hear from Ginny Lee, Intuit’s chief information officer, and Alex Lintner, president of the Global Business Division and senior vice president of strategy and corporate development. Lintner discussed the resources IRES will offer its customers with the formation of the global business division at Intuit, including the construction of a new data center, dedicated merger and acquisition support, people resources and product development resources.
Lee assured IRES clients during her session that Intuit is placing a priority on IRES products, great customer service and speed.
“We are investing in speed, stability, security, diversity, redundancy, reliability and awesome customer service,” Lee said. “We are using a SaaS (software as a service) model to make sure that data and information is always on and always available.”
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from Brad Smith, chief executive officer at Intuit. Brad focused his General Session on Intuit’s plan to focus on social, mobile and global and how IRES is a critical element of those plans.
IRES looks forward to the conference each year and the opportunity to hear and learn from clients. Plans are already underway for the 2009 International User Conference, which will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia November 8 - 11, 2009. About Intuit Real Estate Solutions
